Rounds 5 & 6 of the 2010 Renault Clio Cup with Michelin held mixed fortunes for Jack with a DNF on Saturday and a storming drive to an eventual 6th place in the second race on Sunday, along with the NGK fastest lap award.
Around 10,000 motor racing fans at Rockingham Speedway saw Jack Goff put in a solid performance in his second weekend of racing in the 2010 Renault Clio Cup with Michelin series.
Qualifying in 9th position on the grid in the Saturday race, Jack had a good start driving hard from the line down the left side of the track only to find himself boxed in on the 90 degree left hairpin at turn 2, exiting in 10th position. Working hard Jack fought on for the remaining 14 laps, retaking not only his grid position of ninth but also moving ahead into 8th where he finished the race, earning himself another 14 championship points.

The first 2 rounds of the 2010 Renault Clio Cup saw Jack in great form coming 9th in his first race on Saturday and 8th in the second race on Sunday.
Jack impressed at the final pre season test at Snetterton, covering nearly 100 laps of the Norfolk circuit to be within a couple of tenths of the more experienced runners also out on track. Consistent lap times throughout all four of the days sessions were an encouraging sign as Jack now looks forward to the opening rounds of the championship at Thruxton on April 3rd & 4th.
