Challenging Croft

After a challenging qualifying session that saw variable weather conditions Jack managed to secure 11th position on the grid only 0.7 sec off the front row of the grid.

After gaining several places in the dash to the first corner an over ambitious move by a fellow competitor saw Jack being forced to retire.

The team worked through the rest of the day in order to make sure the car was ready to race again on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday saw Jack starting 13th on the grid; in yet another storming start Jack gained five places through the pack and was right in the mix but after a few laps it became clear that there was a problem, Jack had been forced off the track in the opening lap and the damage sustained made the car lose power. He pushed as hard as possible and managed to cross the line in 9th position maintaining his record of top ten finishes aside of his two DNF’s.

The hunt now continues to secure funding for the second half of the season.
